Safehouse still has a few tables available for Celebrity Waiter Dinner to be held Friday, January 6th at the Holiday Inn. Celebrity Waiter Dinner is the most “fun” fund raiser you’ll ever attend. Celebrity Waiters are really fun people who graciously offer to dress as celebrities and to entice the guests at their tables to “tip” them for their services – which really means to give generously to the Safehouse cause.

As the purchaser of the table, you get to decorate your table however you like and invite your guests to dress accordingly.  Half the fun is wandering around the room and taking in the spectacle of the decorations, costumes and the hilarious antics of the costumed party-goers.

Each member of your table will receive $100 in play money because your “celebrity waiter” does nothing without a proper tip – just like in real life!  A waiter doesn’t give good service without good financial inspiration so you will tip your waiter for food, water, a chair, silver, etc.  If you run out of play money for tipping, you can purchase more.

But here’s where the fun begins.  Your waiter is working to raise money for Safehouse and to win great prizes for him or herself.  So, you may tip your waiter to sing or dance or who knows what else! As well, there will be a small silent auction.  If you are the top bidder on an auction item, your bid amount will be added to your waiter’s tips.  Prizes are awarded to the top-tipped waiter and to the top-tipping table!

Tables are available for $500 and $1,000 and individual tickets for $50 each.  For more information, log on to www.wyomingsafehouse.org or call 634-8655.

Proceeds will benefit Safehouse’ general operating funds.

For more information or to purchase tickets or a table contact Sue Castaneda, 256-7406 or email scasta1630@yahoo.com

Celebrity Waiter Dinner
Friday, January 6th
6 p.m.
Holiday Inn

Join us for the most "fun" fundraiser you've ever attended! Celebrity Waiters are really fun people who graciously offer to dress as celebrities and to entice the guests at their table to "tip" them for their services - which really means "give generously to the Safehouse cause."

Here's how it works:

Tables sell for $1,000 and $500.  Individual tickets are available as well (see below).  As the purchaser of the table, you get to decorate your table however you like and invite your guests to dress accordingly.  Half of the fun is wandering around the room and taking in the spectacle of the decorations, costumes and the hilarious antics of the costumed party-goers!  The room is abuzz with energy and excitement.

Each member of your table will receive $100 in play money because your "celebrity waiter" does nothing without a proper tip - just like in real life! a waiter doesn't give good service without good financial inspiration so you will tip your waiter for food, water, a chair, silver, etc.  If you run out of play money for tipping, you can purchase more.

But here's where the fun begins.  Your waiter is working to raise money for Safehouse and to win great prizes for him or herself.  So, you may tip your waiter to sing or dance or who knows what else!

As well, there will be a small silent auction.  If you are the top bidder on an auction item, your bid amount will be added to your waiter's tips!

Here's how you can help:

  1. Purchase a table. $1,000 seats 10 and comes with four bottles of wine, $500 seats 8 and comes with two bottles of wine. Individual tickets are available at $50 each.  You will be seated with other individual ticket holders and a waiter will be assigned to your table.
  2. Be a "celebrity waiter."  Bring out your inner "Marilyn Monroe" or "Elvis," win prizes for yourself and raise money for Safehouse.
  3. Donate auction items or items for prizes.  Prizes are given to the top-tipped waiter and the best decorated table!

For more information or to purchase tickets or a table contact Sue Castaneda, 256-7406 or email scasta1630@yahoo.com
